Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Currently no images are accepted from the public for public and/or private upload.
Contact forms
If you send information through the contact form, that communication arrives as an email. Email addresses will neither be sold nor shared to anyone. The email and its contents may be saved as a record of correspondence. Communication sent through any contact forms will remain private unless permission to use that information has been granted. Please include your actual email address so that you may be contacted for permission. Otherwise all contact form information will remain private unless that information is required by law enforcement for legally binding reasons. Any harassment or threatening communications received through this form may be reported to the authorities and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Additional third parties include links, to merchandise sold, and/or affiliate links, which provide compensation for products sold from traffic driven by this site.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Currently no user registration or logins are permitted.
Data such as name and email address that is collected with the newsletter subscription sign-up form is saved indefinitely. Users have the option to unsubscribe from future newsletter emails by clicking the unsubscribe link. Anyone who has entered such data and wants to be permanently deleted may use the contact form to request such deletion. If the name and email are still recorded they will be deleted. It is possible there is no such data stored as there is a cost to maintain large subscriber lists and inactive subscribers (people who have unsubscribed) are purged within one year or sooner, as needed to free up space.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
